Cambodia is a tropical climate, which clearly stands out in two seasons: dry season and rainy season. They determine the life of the entire population. The dry season associated with the northeast monsoon and lasts from November until late May, temperatures in January at night may drop to 20 degrees, causing problems to local populations, as in Cambodia, no building heated. From November to February the average temperature is kept in the range of 20 to 28 degrees. April and May are the warmest months and the temperature rises to 32-35 degrees.

The rainy season starts with the arrival of the southwest monsoon and lasts from May to October. As it begins to rain, life stands still, turning roadways into rivers and at a distance of a couple of meters is nothing impossible to decipher. All this may take several hours, and maybe a few days.

Of course, the rainfall in Cambodia during the rainy season and even throughout the year varies from province to province, in coastal zones falls more than 5000 millimeters of rain a year, the central and northern areas, the figure is much lower and amounts to about 1500 millimeters. The temperature in midsummer drops to 22-30 degrees, and by early autumn, the end of the rainy season the temperature is stabilized to 25-30 degrees. In the autumn months from September to November rainfall probability is rather low.
