Short Title 1

Barseat Temple was built during the reign of King Suryavarman I (1002-1050) and is located on a hill in the village of Ba Seth (Ba Set) 15 kilometers east of Battambang. The temple was established in the architectural style of 11 th century and was built from 1036 to 1042. Near the temple is an ancient pond 20 meters wide, 12 meters long and about 10 meters deep. It did not wither even in the dry season, and in the rainy season the water level increases.
