East-Barey
East Barey is a huge artificial reservoir. Its dimensions are simply staggering 7 km x 1,8 km. East Barey was dug during the reign Yasovarmane I (889-910) to supply the city with water in the dry period. Similar reservoir, whose dimensions are 8 km x 2,3 km, is located to the west of Angkor. It is called West Barey.
