AKDN srang (Srah Srang)

AKDN Srang is located south of East Baraya and Banteay Kdey. It was built in the 10 century, and during the 12-13th centuries, he made a small change. A pier at the western end of Baraya, opposite the entrance to Banteay Kdey, it is avery popular place to meet the sunrise.

Southeast Asia has been inhabited since the Neolithic, but the birth of civilization of Angkor was still in the first century AD. At the turn of the millennium, South-East Asia became the center of the commercial trade, which stretched from the Mediterranean to China. Indian and Chinese traders began to arrive in the region in large numbers, exposing indigenous Cambodian effects of their culture. Particular developments were Hindu culture, which actively promoted the Brahman priests. Indian culture, religion (Hinduism and Buddhism), law, political system, science and writing were the mass distribution in the region for several centuries.

The National Park Phnom Kulen

The National Park Phnom Kulen (Phnom Kulen) is located in the southern mountains of Dangrek 50 kilometers from Siem Ripa, and because of it's remoteness', few tourists visit. Phnom Kulen is a picturesque and quiet area with exceptional nature, where many centuries ago, it was built with sandstone used in the construction of Angkor. In Khmer Phnom Kulen is considered a sacred place, they believe it is here that originated Khmer civilization.

In Phnom Kuletne also features a waterfall and small river with 1000 lingams, where for centuries they worshiped Shiva. In 1000 the river channel carved lingams, which hides just 5 inches of water and is an unforgettable combination of natural beauty and religious stone carvings.
