Three striking examples tetramelisa are on the western side of the fourth goparam east, along the eastern wall of the southern wall of the second shell. 

After the fall of the Khmer empire, Ta Prohm was a desolation for many centuries. In the 20th century the church was partially restored and cleared of jungle take over, restoring it is still going on.
