Sampot is Cambodian sarong while krama is a checked cotton scarf-like head-wrapping.

Both men and women often wear a sarong (made from cotton, cotton / synthetic mixture or silk), especially at home. Silk sarongs dress up on holidays or advantaged people. In the cities are the usual pants and dresses.

In formal occasions, such as religious festivals or family celebrations, women often wear Khoi (type shirts) throughout. Most women dress modestly.
