Buddhist pagoda
Buddhist pagoda is one of the most significant sites of Khmer culture. Siem Reap,is one of the many Cambodian towns and villages that grew up around some pagodas. To fully feel the spiritual part of Cambodia, we recommend visiting one of the sites.
Short Title 2Wat Po (Wat Bo)
Pagoda Wat Po was built in 18 century and is a haven of peace and one of the oldest in the heart of Siem Ripa. Like the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh, Wat Bo contains a unique mural late 19th century. Most of the pictures, the pictures of the French colonial era, depicting ordinary scenes from the life of the market, traditional dances and French soldiers. Also of interest is a large collection of Buddha statues, which is located behind the central statue of Buddha.
Short Title 3Temple of Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm (Preah Ang Chek Shrine Preah Ang Chorm Shrine)
This is a small shrine at the front of the hotel Grand Hotel D'Ankor has special significance for local residents and contains two of the Buddha with the names of Preah Ang Chek (above) and Preah Ang Charm (shorter). They are surrounded by the history of power and invincibility. Visitors can make offerings and take pictures.
