Angkor Wat
Another interpretation of Angkor Wat intriged Eleanor Manica. Based on the alignment of the temple and its dimensions, as well as to it's content and arrangement of the bas-reliefs, she argues that they point to the application of a new era in the world, led by King Suryavarmanom II: the change of solar and lunar cycles, was built in the sacred space of temple Angkor Wat, and is enshrined in the sacred chambers and corridors, designed to perpetuate the power of the king and to placate the Deity manifested itself with the above. The assumption of Manik was received with interest and skepticism in academic circles.
Short Title 2The Outside of the perimeter wall has dimensions of 1,025 by 802 meters 4,5 meters in height, surrounded by a moat. Access to Angkor Wat is provided through the Gopuram, and from the east and a sand dam in the west, and the latter to the main entrance was a later addition, possibly replacing a wooden bridge.
